Then we have chosen sides in this conflict. Let there be no doubt we have chosen sides. I wish to ask this question: Clearly defined, are we doing this in response to compassion and emotion, or are we doing it as a part of the NATO force consistent with a clear national security interest in Bosnia? I suggest it is a result of emotion and compassion, and there is an absence of a clear national security interest.
