Stonewall Jackson, one of the most revered men in the State of Virginia, and Gen. Philip Sheridan. These are eight pieces of ground, hallowed ground, ground which is visited each year by literally hundreds of thousands of Americans and other visitors of this country, your constituents, my constituents. Indeed, I had not seen one or more of these battlefields myself until over the past 2 years. I had the opportunity to visit it while we were putting this legislation together.
