Political Quotes

I am quite frustrated. I am a New Yorker, I am an American, and I lost friends in the World Trade Center on September 11. What I would like to say to my friends on the other side is, let us move on. Let us not use any more distractions in this process. We waited a year, a year, to create the Department of Homeland Security because the other body, in its leadership from the Democratic Party, decided a year ago that they would rather play politics than go to the business of the people and go to the business of creating this Department of Homeland Security. I would ask my friends, and implore upon my friends to allow us to move on and let us do the business of the people. That is what leadership is about, and that is what they expect of us.
