Yes. Reclaiming my time, that is exactly the point. There should not be a cap on punitive damages necessary as a deterrent but to avoid unjust enrichment. I can understand the cap on the recovery to the victim. But to cap the total award and then to say underneath that cap we are going to say the victim cannot get it all, that I think is wrong to the victim and does not provide an adequate deterrent to the tort feasor.
