Some Republicans in Congress have fought to defund the FBI and CISA over the past 2 years. Agencies that are working to counter nation- state threats are the very same ones that some of my colleagues across the aisle want to destroy. If we want to keep America safe and our economy strong, the best action we can take is to fund the government entirely and in a bipartisan fashion, but, instead, we are here in this Chamber playing politics instead.
