Mr. Speaker, I am prepared to close, and I yield myself the balance of my time. Mr. Speaker, this bill does not close any gaps in the law, does not fix any of the myriad problems with our immigration system or the southern border, and would actually harm the very people it purports to protect. It is another excuse for the Republican majority to play politics with immigration without doing any of the hard work involved in finding bipartisan solutions.
