Hillary Clinton: “Joining the Convention would give our day-to-day maritime operations a firmer, codified legal foundation.”

I really commend President Trump and his administration, as well as Arab leaders in the region, for making the commitment to the 20-point plan and seeing a path forward for what's often called the day after.

I hope he's reminded of that. He is not meeting with a friend. He is meeting with an adversary, and an adversary who hopes to play him.

There's something about this administration's attitude toward this, which I think really leads us to conclude they have something to hide.

Because my goal here is to not allow capitulation to Putin.
