Hakeem Jeffries: “As I take my seat, I just want to say to the American people that no matter what the outcome is on this singular day…”

The more Donald Trump campaigns for Republicans across the country, the better for the opportunity for Democrats to further convince the American people that we actually are the only ones determined to make life more affordable for them.

I'm very confident that we're going to take back the majority, but it remains to be seen what that looks like in terms of the number of seats that we pick up.

We need to lower the cost of groceries and gas. Two, we need to make healthcare affordable for every single American. Three, we’re going to hold the crooks accountable who’ve visited unprecedented corruption on the American people.

We will deliver full accountability for the rogue abuse of power.
