It’s important to understand that Republicans have adopted voter suppression as an electoral technique, because they have come to the conclusion that the only way the radical right can consistently win elections is not through the contest of ideas. It’s by stopping certain communities, low-income communities, communities of color, young people from fully being able to participate in our democracy.
