We continue engagement with the administration on a number of questions and concerns.

It is unacceptable that, a week after the strike, Members of the Foreign Affairs Committee have yet to be briefed by the administration on this use of force despite the Committee’s clear jurisdiction.

It is explicit in the agreement that our sovereignty is not threatened, so this is duplicative, and that is why I oppose it. Mr. Chairman, I have no further speakers. I yield back the balance of my time.

May their freedom mark a process of healing for them and their families, and the beginning of a durable peace for both Israelis and Palestinians.
