I have to start out by saying, first, I am disappointed but not surprised at all, even though it is not directly related to this hearing, that my Republican colleagues in the Senate along with the assistance of the Vice President of the United States and the White House decided to roll back consumers' access to the courts in favor of the most powerful players in Washington, D.C. Bad day for consumers.
