Before moving to Rockland, he was a Queens native, served New York City with honor as a member of the NYPD while also answering the call to serve our Nation overseas with the Army National Guard. He was a devoted husband, a father, a man whose life reflected extraordinary commitment to his family and his country. His sacrifice reminds us of the quiet strength of those who serve not for themselves but out of duty and love for the American people. As we grieve his profound loss, we stand with his family, his fellow servicemembers in uniform, and all those who were touched by his life.
