“I have an amendment at the desk. The Acting CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: Page 10, after line 19, insert the following: (f) Additional Advisory Committee Members.--Section 3(d) of such Act (12 U.S.C. 635a(d)) is amended-- (1) in paragraph (1)-- (A) in subparagraph (A), by striking ``17'' and inserting ``19''; and (B) in subparagraph (B), by inserting ``higher education,'' before ``State''; and (2) in paragraph (2), by adding at the end the following: ``(D) 1 member appointed to the Advisory Committee shall be representative of 4-year institutions of higher education. ``(E) 1 member appointed to the Advisory Committee shall be representative of community colleges.''. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 695, the gentlewoman from New York (Ms. Meng) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentlewoman from New York.”
