It is ordered that the land description contained in Executive Order No. 9257 of October 15, 1942, enlarging Naval Petroleum Reserve No. 1, in California, be, and it is hereby, corrected to read as follows:

It seems obvious that we will be more or less responsible for security in all the Pacific waters.
All Federal agencies are directed to cooperate with the Secretary of the Interior to the fullest extent possible.
Possession of any mine or mines taken under this order shall be terminated by the Secretary of the Interior as soon as he determines that such possession is no longer required for the successful prosecution of the war.
