The purpose of this moratorium period is to permit the States to make necessary readjustments in their laws with respect to insurance.
The jurisdiction granted by this order shall cease at the expiration of the six months' period following the termination of the unlimited national emergency declared by Proclamation No. 2487 of May 27, 1941.
I hereby exempt the said Harry F. Hawley from compulsory retirement for age for such time as may be deemed necessary, but not to exceed the duration of the present emergency.
