I, Franklin D. Roosevelt, President of the United States of America, under and by virtue of the authority vested in me by section 2 of the Act of June 8, 1906, do proclaim that, subject to the provisions of the Act of Congress approved June 13, 1933, and to all valid existing rights, the following described lands in California and Nevada be, and the same are hereby added to and made a part of the Death Valley National Monument.
