We all know that the reduction of Government-created barriers to trade will not solve all our trade problems.
It will recommend agricultural policies and advise Nations on their food and agricultural problems, but it will have no power to coerce or command.
We must go on to do all in our power to conquer the doubts and the fears, the ignorance and the greed, which made this horror possible.
I do know it will come, and I do know that tonight there are over seven and a half million Americans overseas or fighting afloat in this great war.
