The American people rejoice with me in the liberation of your Capital.
By virtue of and pursuant to the authority vested in me by section 20 of the act of June 10, 1922.
The structure of world peace cannot be the work of one man, or one party, or one Nation.
With God's help we will complete the fulfillment of the pledge we renewed when our men returned to Leyte.
