Executive Order No. 6440 of November 18, 1933, as amended by Executive Order No. 6554 of January 10, 1934, relating to rates of compensation of Government employees in emergency agencies not subject to the Classification Act of 1923 and acts amendatory thereof, is hereby amended so as to exclude and exempt from the provisions thereof all employees of the Federal Civil Works Administration assigned to duty without the District of Columbia or in the field service within the District of Columbia, and all other employees of the said Administration except the clerical and administrative personnel employed in the central office in the District of Columbia.
