By virtue of and pursuant to the authority vested in me by section 6 of the Pay Readjustment Act of 1942, I hereby prescribe the following regulations governing the payment of rental allowances to officers of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Coast and Geodetic Survey, and Public Health Service.
