As their Commander in Chief I call upon you, my fellow Americans, to oversubscribe the 1945 Red Cross War Fund.
Trade is fundamental to the prosperity of Nations, as it is of individuals.
It is fruitless to try to place the blame for this situation on one particular Nation or on another.
We can be proud of all that the Red Cross has meant to them.
