I once again thank Mr. Jeffries for authoring this important legislation. Mr. Speaker, I urge my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to support this legislation, and I yield back the balance of my time. The SPEAKER pro tempore. The question is on the motion offered by the gentleman from New York (Mr. Engel) that the House suspend the rules and pass the bill, H.R. 5586, as amended. The question was taken; and (two-thirds being in the affirmative) the rules were suspended and the bill, as amended, was passed. The title of the bill was amended so as to read: ``A bill To measure the progress of recovery and efforts to address corruption, rule of law, and media freedoms in Haiti.''. A motion to reconsider was laid on the table. ____________________
