Climate change is a serious threat to our country and to the entire planet.

I believe in an 'all of the above approach' to energy independence, but we must include renewable energy as part of the mix.

We can no longer afford to ignore climate change and I am hopeful that this Committee will seriously deal with the issue.

I have been a strong proponent of doing everything we can to make the United States energy independent.
