We have worked very closely together through the years on the Foreign Affairs Committee. He has been one of the best members--always there, always fighting, always principled--and I thank him for the nice, kind words he said about me. We all say kind things about him because he is such an important member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and I have enjoyed serving with him all these years.
