I want to again thank Congresswoman Bordallo for introducing this resolution. American engagement in the Pacific Islands region is critical to our strategic posture in the Western Pacific. With its passage, we reaffirm our commitment to the islands. I support this resolution, and I encourage my colleagues to do the same. Mr. Speaker, I yield back the balance of my time.
