If we are going to pass legislation like this, it only works if we do it in a bipartisan way--as Americans--not as Democrats or Republicans. We should come back here with a bipartisan bill that can actually move forward, just as we have done again and again and again on the Foreign Affairs Committee. The question here is not whether Iran is a good player. Iran is a bad player. In fact, it is a terrible player. It is important that we do act on the challenge of Iran. Like Chairman Royce, I oppose the Iran deal, but our side lost the debate. The deal is in place.…”
