“I thank the gentlewoman for yielding. I believe my friends on the other side of the aisle think that, if they repeat something again and again, people will begin to believe it. Yet Republicans seem intent on interfering with a woman's right to make her own decisions with her family and physicians, using her private money. Abortion is a difficult choice, to be sure, and this extreme legislation makes the decision even harder. We need to provide women and their families with the support they need to make health decisions, not criminalize them. Vote ``no'' on this bill.”
