“Does the Senator dispute that our amendment continues the repeal of the estate tax in the exact time as the committee bill, in the year 2011, and that the only thing affected in our amendment--we can read a long list of everyone who is for repeal of the estate tax; that is not affected--the only thing that is affected is estates of over $3 million whose top rate goes down not from 55 to 45, but 55 to 53? With that change alone, we make college tuition up to $12,000 tax deductible.”
