Let me just say that we are making very good progress. We had a whole bunch of amendments again tonight. We have had more amendments on this bill than on any bill I can recall in a very long time. We have cooperated with the minority and given them many different amendments, and we have had good debate. This is how the Senate can function when we work in a bipartisan way and agree to work together, and I hope we can have an amiable conclusion tomorrow. ____________________
