I want to thank my colleagues for participating, particularly Senator King, who pinch-hit for me, and sharing his thoughts.

When groups can run ad campaigns without disclosing their true identities, they freely resort to vicious and dishonest attack ads.

It is just confounding and strikes me as perhaps self-interested that people are actually against disclosure.

The purpose of disclosure is for the public to keep tabs on its legislators.
