When the Wall Street Journal editorial page says that decoupling would not go against conservatives' antitax principles, that gives a whole lot of cover to the Speaker. When Grover Norquist refuses to declare whether decoupling would violate his group's pledge, that, too, gives a whole lot of cover to the Speaker.…”
