I ask unanimous consent that when the Senate completes its business today, it recess until 10 a.m. on Friday, September 29; that following the prayer and pledge, the time for the two leaders be reserved for their use later in the day and morning business be closed; that upon conclusion of morning business, the Senate resume consideration of H.R. 3935; further, that at 12 noon, the Senate execute the order of September 27, 2023, relating to the Gee and McGrath nominations, and that all debate time be considered expired and the Senate vote on confirmation of the nominations in the order listed.
