finally, I ask unanimous consent that when the Senate completes its business today, it adjourn to then convene for pro forma sessions only, with no business being conducted on Friday, April 26, at 10 a.m.; further, that when the Senate adjourns on Friday, April 26, it stand adjourned until 3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30; that on Tuesday, following the prayer and pledge, the Journal of proceedings be approved to date, the morning hour be deemed expired, the time for the two leaders be reserved for their use later in the day and morning business be closed; that following the conclusion of morning business, the Senate proceed to executive session to resume consideration of the Alexakis nomination; further, that the cloture motions filed during today's session ripen at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
