let me thank my colleagues from Maryland and New Hampshire for their eloquence. Again, we need to act now. We have waited long enough to make these changes. The House passed them 417 to 1. There may be changes people want to make, but I would urge that we pass this bill now--we pass this bill immediately--because small businesses need the certainty. In the next week or two, many will be affected negatively if we don't get this legislation passed. So I ask unanimous consent that the Senate proceed to the immediate consideration of H.R. 710, which was received from the House; that the bill be considered read a third time and passed; and that the motion to reconsider be considered made and laid upon the table.
