I ask unanimous consent that when the Senate completes its business today, it adjourn to then convene for pro forma sessions only, with no business being conducted, on the following dates and times, and that following each pro forma session, the Senate adjourn until the next pro forma session: Friday, July 28, at 11:45 a.m.; Tuesday, August 1, at 12:15 p.m.; Friday, August 4, at 12 noon; Tuesday, August 8, at 10 a.m.; Friday, August 11, at 9 a.m.; Tuesday, August 15, at 12 noon; Friday, August 18, at 1 p.m.; Tuesday, August 22, at 2 p.m.; Friday, August 25, at 12 noon; Tuesday, August 29, at 11:45 a.m.; and Friday, September 1, at 11:45 a.m.; further, that when the Senate adjourns on Friday, September 1, it stand adjourned until 3 p.m. on Tuesday, September 5; that on Tuesday, following the prayer and pledge, the Journal of proceedings be approved to date, the morning hour be deemed expired, the time for the two leaders be reserved for their use later in the day, and morning business be closed; that following the conclusion of morning business, the Senate proceed to executive session to resume consideration of the Jefferson nomination; further, that the cloture motions filed during today's session ripen at 5:30 p.m. The PRESIDING OFFICER.
