Each day, each month, each year passes by without reauthorization is another day, another month and another year that this country, in my opinion, is failing our children.

We can not have 20th century ideas covering 21st century classrooms.

I believe a constructive way to help combat this two-pronged nutritional crisis is to provide regular healthy meals in our nation's schools.

I firmly believe that a majority, if not all, of these issues can be solved with more robust investment in K through 12 STEM education.
