We are experiencing a crisis, and I must say that the panelists--first, I want to thank all of my colleagues that participated, but the panel was a particularly articulate and informed one.

In 2009, this committee passed a bipartisan bill called the Credit Card Bill of Rights, which the CFPB said saved consumers roughly $16 billion.

It is a persistent problem, the affordability of housing in my own district, and I would say in my city, in my State, and clear across this country.

It is high time that Congress gets serious about the cost of anti-LGBTQ hatred and commit to honoring those in its crosshairs with real actions.
