The violence that took place at Club Q follows years of long efforts by some state lawmakers to erase LGBTQ+ people from school curriculum.

I am also concerned that foreign issuers, including foreign hedge funds and private equity funds that raise capital in the United States, take advantage of these exemptions.

Chairman Sherman and I have been working on legislation to increase transparency into this exempt offerings market.
