Republicans are turning back the clock on women's rights, back to a time when women were not viewed as equal citizens.

I was sincerely hoping that they would use this opportunity to acknowledge their role in the violence plaguing our Nation.

This devastating decision is taking away a fundamental right that we felt was settled law with 50 years of precedent.

We need to say without apology that people who endanger entire marginalized communities for social media content and fundraising fodder have no place in our politics.
