Following today's hearing House Democrats will continue to take bold action to stop the bloodshed. Later this week, we hope to vote on the first assault weapon ban in nearly 30 years.

This is literally life and death to many women.

We are experiencing a crisis, and I must say that the panelists--first, I want to thank all of my colleagues that participated, but the panel was a particularly articulate and informed one.

We need to say without apology that people who endanger entire marginalized communities for social media content and fundraising fodder have no place in our politics.
