I am so encouraged by the direction this Congress is taking from a bipartisan perspective to push forward, quite righteously, the Social Security Fairness Act to eliminate WEP and GPO.

The American economy is--we are 25 percent of the world's economy.

It is Congress that is not fulfilling its mission to Social Security beneficiaries.

It is not only inefficient, it is awful, and it is inhumane.
