we think that more and more it is becoming clear that we have a good portion of this institution that wants to solve these problems in a bipartisan way if we can, and as Democrats alone if we must. But one way or another, if you think, as one of the previous speakers said, ``You are going to do it our way or we are going to keep making motions to rise,'' keep doing it. We are not going anywhere. We are here to fight for the American people for 2 years, and we are not giving up. There are people making much bigger sacrifices than we are. What we are here to do is to try to honor their sacrifice, honor the things the American people are going through. And that is why the American people turned to a Democratic House; a Democratic Senate; and in a matter of months, a Democratic President of the United States.
