Madam Chair, I present an amendment at the desk. The Acting CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: Add at the end of subtitle E of title 10 the following: SEC. __. LIMITATION ON USE OF FUNDS FOR PROVIDING HOUSING FOR UNDOCUMENTED ALIENS. None of the funds authorized to be appropriated by this Act or otherwise made available for the Department of Defense may be used for the purpose of providing housing in any Department of Defense facility for any detained alien who has no lawful immigration status in the United States. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 476, the gentlewoman from New York (Ms. Ocasio-Cortez) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes.
