Madam Chair, I have an amendment at the desk. The Acting CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of subtitle E of title X, insert the following: SEC. 10__. PROHIBITION ON USE OF FUNDS FOR ENFORCEMENT OF IMMIGRATION AND NATIONALITY ACT. None of the funds authorized to be appropriated or otherwise made available for the Department of Defense for fiscal year 2020 may be obligated or expended for any activity authorized pursuant to chapter 15 of title 10, United States Code, or section 1059 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 15 2016 (Public Law 114-92; 129 Stat. 986; 10 U.S.C. 271 note prec.), if a significant purpose of the activity is to assist with the enforcement of any part of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1101 et seq.).
