On the recordNovember 18, 2020
Again, I want to thank Congressman Sherman for his hard work on this measure. I am very pleased to support this measure, I urge all Members to do the same, and I yield back the balance of my time. The SPEAKER pro tempore. The question is on the motion offered by the gentleman from New York (Mr. Espaillat) that the House suspend the rules and agree to the resolution, H. Res. 825, as amended. The question was taken; and (two-thirds being in the affirmative) the rules were suspended and the resolution, as amended, was agreed to. The title of the resolution was amended so as to read: ``A resolution urging the United States to continue to be a leader in supporting the Treaty on the Nonproliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) and the global nonproliferation regime to reap the benefits the NPT and such regime bring to United States and international security.''. A motion to reconsider was laid on the table. ____________________
