If someone does not like parts of this very important amendment, then move to delete it. But I think we are going to have the support of Senator Stevens and Senator Murkowski on this, as they should support this. I say to my friend from Oklahoma, I repeat, maybe there is blame to go around about how legislation happens, but we only follow the example set by my friends in the minority. However we got here, we are here now. It is legislation that is important for this country, and I acknowledge changes probably should be made. It is imperfect, but I think it is really a strong step forward. I look forward to working with my friend from Oklahoma in any way he thinks is appropriate to improve this legislation.”
