I ask unanimous consent that when the Senate completes its business today, it adjourn until Wednesday, March 14, at 9:30 a.m.; that following the prayer and the pledge, the Journal of proceedings be approved to date, the morning hour be deemed expired, the time for the two leaders be reserved for their use later in the day; that following any leader remarks the Senate proceed to a period of morning business for 1 hour with Senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each, with the time equally divided and controlled between the two leaders or their designees, with the Republicans controlling the first half and the majority controlling the final half; that following morning business, the Senate resume consideration of S. 1813, the highway bill, with the time until 11:30 a.m. equally divided between the two leaders or their designees; that upon disposition of the Transportation bill, the Senate proceed to a period of morning business until 2 p.m. with Senators permitted to speak for up to 10 minutes each, with the time equally divided and controlled between the two leaders or their designees; finally, at 2 p.m., the Senate proceed to executive session with 30 minutes of debate equally divided prior to a vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Groh nomination.
