The Senator from Florida has been such a leader on immigration issues generally but more specifically this issue dealing with Haitians. The State of Florida has been greatly affected by Haitian immigrants. All we are saying is let these people have their status adjusted. If it doesn't work out, they will have to suffer whatever consequences. But don't deny them basic due process.
