We have issues dealing with the environment which are extremely important: light bulbs, coal, and many other issues that haven't been resolved in this so-called omnibus. So, Madam President, I think everyone can see very clearly that my friends on the other side of the aisle obviously want to have the government shut down. As I have said before, and I will say again, they have had experience doing this. The presumptive Republican nominee Newt Gingrich tried that once and it didn't work so well.…”
