I ask the Chair to lay before the Senate a message from the House to accompany S. 1254. The PRESIDING OFFICER laid before the Senate a message from the House as follows: S. 1254 Resolved, That the bill from the Senate (S. 1254) entitled ``An Act to amend the Harmful Algal Blooms and Hypoxia Research and Control Act of 1998, and for other purposes.'', do pass with an amendment: Strike out all after the enacting clause and insert: SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Harmful Algal Bloom and Hypoxia Research and Control Amendments Act of 2014''. SEC. 2. REFERENCES TO THE HARMFUL ALGAL BLOOM AND HYPOXIA RESEARCH AND CONTROL ACT OF 1998. Except as otherwise expressly provided, whenever in this Act an amendment or repeal is expressed in terms of an amendment to, or repeal of, a section or other provision, the reference shall be considered to be made to a section or other provision of the Harmful Algal Bloom and Hypoxia Research and Control Act of 1998 (16 U.S.C. 1451 note).
